Shelby + Mitchell | A Golden Field Engagement | Coon Valley, WI | Haley Hundt Photos

I would just like to start this blog post by saying I fricken' A D O R E these two! You know how great it feels to be around someone who just makes you feel like you can be 100% yourself? It’s the best feeling! That’s how we feel around Shelby + Mitchell! These two are incredibly laid back and so joyful. Their entire engagement session was filled with laughter and I loved every second of it! They are completely, madly in love with each other and the chemistry is so strong. I get pretty excited about that because photographing couples in love is such a passion of mine, and selfishly it translates so easily onto camera. Shelby + Mitchell, ya'll are making my job too easy! ;)

We photographed in locations around Coon Valley, Wisconsin. I obtained permission to shoot at a fellow photographers pasture and I am so glad we did! For years I have been drooling over this location during Golden Hour. Watching the grasses soak in the warm rays as I drove past always made me imagine a fairytale love just casually walking along the creekside. Pinch me. Am I dreaming?! That all became a reality with this engagement session!

As much as I have loved the location, Shelby + Mitchell really took the cake. Gosh, are you seeing what I'm seeing?!

The way Mitchell looks at his bride with such bright eyes.

Shelby's contagious happiness and laughter.

How they are both completely made to love one another, equally and passionately.

Two words: GOOSE. BUMPS.

I am so incredibly excited to be a part of Shelby + Mitchell's life as their photographer. September can't come soon enough!

Please enjoy all of my favorite images from their engagement session! Thank you to Jon Lee for giving us permission to photograph a portion of their engagement portraits on his land. We are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful community of photographers in our area.

If your heart hasn't started to melt yet, I have no words left for you!

Swiss Alps? is that you? No? That's just Coon Valley, Wisco? Okay.
