Katrina's senior portrait session happened at the most beautiful time for the local wildflowers to bloom! She brought along lots of ideas to showcase her personality, like her love of Track & Field! Not going to lie, it felt a little bittersweet feeling the track under my feet again. I *had* to kick my Birks off and smell the rubber. It's not weird, I promise, haha! Alumni T&F kids will get it.
It makes me feel so happy knowing that amazing seniors like Katrina have as much love for the sport as I once did. When Katrina and I hit the field she wanted to pull out some special shots of her + her hurdles and when she pulled out her bajillion medals I was blown away! Yes, you do indeed spy a few state medals in there! So amazing. Also, if you aren't a T&F alumni let me just tell you this- hurdles are a whole 'nother ball game. They are so calculated, particular and HARD. I'm seriously just astounded by how amazing Katrina is and how humbly she carries herself. What a peach. I hope to photograph many more "Katrinas" in my lifetime. :)
Enjoy some of my favorites from her session! Thank you again for choosing me, Katrina!
